Annual Health Check

NHS England and NHS Improvement Team have created a suite of videos that has a focus for carers and families who care for people with learning disabilities, who may want to learn more about the process. As well as featuring the Misfits Theatre Company from Bristol, aimed at people with a learning disability, to assist them and manage their own oral health to avoid future complications, plus how a Health Action Plan can be of benefit.

Accessible Information Standards with Easy Read Leaflets

All organisations providing NHS or publicly funded adult social care are legally required to fully implement and conform to the NHS England Accessible Information Standard.

This means practices must ensure that patients who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss are able to receive information that they can access and understand.
